Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklift models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck offering great height and versatility. The crane, or arm, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the person using it to maintain a high degree of control while raising the load to great heights. Regular lift trucks aren't able to move the load towards and away from the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually used in construction and agriculture. It is recommended for applications where greater control and lift is required.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that allow the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It is available with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specially to raise employees. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a strap or chain which is to be secured directly to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the workers from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
