End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are well known in the material handling industry for their great flexibility. These equipment have great performance characteristics that are quite like sit-down electric lift truck units.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suitable for warehousing operation settings which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machines are an excellent option for applications that require regular on and off access, as their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading equipment used by a variety of companies that maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and materials that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great alternative for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need for immediate use in an efficient and safe way.
The standard reach truck unit is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping forks which move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The tines also include a hydraulic system which enables the driver to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only gives more balance to the whole load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Typically, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
