Never let anybody on a forklift who isn't properly trained to operate the forklift. Your business must develop and post in a location that is visible all forklift safety measures.
Instead of going through training because workers are required to, they should have a positive attitude in doing so. You as the employer must help staff know the importance of correct training. Let them understand that they could kill or injure not just themselves, but other individuals, if they make mistakes. It is up to you to ensure that all your staff undertake training seriously.
